1. Who We Are

NodeSyn ("we", "us", "our") is a self-hosted Windows infrastructure monitoring product available at nodesyn.com. For privacy questions contact us at info@nodesyn.com.

2. Data We Collect

Free users — no license purchase

We collect nothing. You download directly from our CDN. No account, no email, no name, no tracking, no analytics. We have no idea who downloaded NodeSyn unless you contact us.

Paying customers

If you purchase a license from our website, you are redirected to Polar.sh to complete checkout. Polar and Stripe collect your email address and payment details to process the transaction and issue your license key. NodeSyn does not store your payment details. The only information we see is your email address and subscription status in our Polar dashboard.

Support contacts

If you email us, we receive your email address and message content. We use it only to respond to you and treat it as confidential. We do not retain support emails longer than necessary.

3. What We Do Not Collect

• Your infrastructure monitoring data — CPU, RAM, disk, processes, event logs, or fix history
• Any data from your monitored Windows machines or agents
• Your NodeSyn dashboard admin username or password
• Your network topology, agent names, or server configuration
• Any telemetry, usage statistics, or crash reports from your installation
• Browser cookies, analytics, or tracking data from visitors to nodesyn.com

All monitoring data is stored exclusively on your own server. NodeSyn's systems have no access to it at any time.

4. Your Admin Account

Your NodeSyn dashboard admin credentials are created locally on your own server during installation. NodeSyn does not store, receive, or have any access to your admin password. There is no cloud-based account management — everything is self-contained on your machine.

5. Cookies & Tracking

The nodesyn.com website is a static site. We do not set cookies, run analytics tools, use pixel tracking, or collect visitor data of any kind.

The NodeSyn dashboard installed on your own server uses a local session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie never leaves your own network and is not subject to this privacy policy.

6. Third-Party Services

• Polar.sh — processes license purchases and subscription management. They collect your checkout email and payment details. See Polar's privacy policy.
• Stripe — processes payments on Polar's behalf. See Stripe's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — serves our website via CDN. Cloudflare may log request metadata including IP addresses as part of standard CDN operation and DDoS protection.

7. Security

• nodesyn.com is served over HTTPS via Cloudflare
• License validation communicates with Polar.sh over encrypted connections
• We do not store passwords or payment card details at any point
• Support emails are handled with care and deleted once resolved

8. Children

NodeSyn is professional IT software intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under 16. Since no account is required to download or use the software, we have no mechanism to collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will update the date shown above and post a notice on nodesyn.com. We cannot notify you directly by email unless you are a current paying customer whose email we hold through Polar.
